Join AusCham for our seminar discussing upcoming changes due to the introduction in Vietnam of the new Labour Law, changes to the issuance and eligibility of Work Permits and Work Permit exemptions, and discussion around existing practices for Temporary Residence Cards and Business Visas due to current border disruptions. Your speakers are Minh Duong, Partner at Asia Counsel and current President of AusCham, and Matthew Lourey, Managing Partner of Domicile Corporate Services. The seminar is designed to provide practical discussions of changes to laws, and provide clarity on processes and requirements from the authorities. There will be an opportunity for participants to join the Q&A session to ask specific questions for the speakers

 

Matthew Lourey – Managing Partner, Domicile Corporate Services

Matt Lourey is a qualified accountant who has lived and worked in Vietnam for over 14 years. Matt assists foreign invested companies enter Vietnam and ensures their ongoing accounting, tax, reporting and compliance are maintained at international levels. He also currently sits on a number of boards in Vietnam, advising as an independent non-executive director and has been an active member of the AusCham Board of Directors as Treasurer and President before stepping down easier this year.

 

Minh Duong, Partner, Asia Counsel and President, AusChamMinh Duong is a lawyer admitted to the New South Wales Supreme Court and High Court of Australia and registered foreign lawyer in Vietnam. He has over 12 years of advising international and Vietnamese clients grow their businesses in Vietnam. He specialises in M&A, corporate and commercial, capital markets, securities law and banking & finance. Minh is actively involved with AusCham Vietnam and is the current President and has been a Director and Secretary previously over the past 4 years.
