[Supported Event] Webinar: “Vietnam Joins the Hague System: What’s New in the Protection of Industrial Design?

On 30th September 2019, Vietnam became the 61st member of the Geneva Act (1999) of the Hague Agreement and 71st member of the Hague Union upon depositing its instrument of accession with World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). The Act will enter into force in Vietnam on 30 December 2019.

The Hague System for the international registration of Industrial Designs will then be available in 90 countries. The use of the Hague System can be considered to seek protection simultaneously in multiple countries by filing a single “international” application in one language and one set of fees.

Join us on Wednesday, 27th November 2019 for this Webinar to learn more about how to use the Hague System to protect your industrial design in Vietnam. Our speaker will be Mr. Son Doan – External Expert of the SEA IPR SME Helpdesk Project and Managing Partner of IPMAX Law Firm.
