From January 1st, 2021, the changes made in 2020 to the Law on Investment and the Law on Enterprise, the two main statutes regulating company formation and governance in Vietnam, have come into force.
Some of these amendments concern fundamental aspects will be discussed in this upcoming webinar, including:
company formation (company seal, introduction of the so-called “negative list” and of encouraged sectors); corporate governance (elimination of compulsory “inspectors”, presence of more than one legal representative, boards of directors, rights of minority shareholders); notifications pertaining mergers and acquisitions.
