On September 28th 2022, the 6th Heritage Preservation and Economic Development event, organized by the Consulate of Italy in HCMC in collaboration with S&A company (SCE PROJECT), took place successfully at the Reverie Saigon Hotel.
Presented at the event were the Ambassador of Italy in Vietnam HE. Antonio Alessandro, the Consul General of Italy in HCMC Mr. Enrico Padula, the former Italy Prime Minister, President of Italy – Asean Association Mr. Romano Prodi and Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan from HCMC Department of Planning and Architecture. As one of the main supporters of the event, ICHAM trusts the long-lasting value brought about by the discussion will benefit greatly to the urban planning industry in Vietnam.
The Heritage Conservation and Economic Development event in Ho Chi Minh City is a mix of professions and industries – all aimed at supporting sustainable urban development and adaptive reuse in Vietnam. Moreover, as part of the event, Vice President of the Italy – ASEAN Association, Professor Romeo Orlando, presented Rome’s candidacy for the chair of EXPO 2030 as an example of heritage conservation and reuse being successful.
