ICHAM Annual General Meeting 2022

Yesterday on March 3rd, ICHAM successfully organized the Annual General Meeting of 2022 in hybrid format – connecting Ho Chi Minh city (from Caravelle Saigon) and Hanoi (from Casa Italia) together with online present of ICHAM Members.

Joining the meeting were the Ambassador of Italy H.E Antonio Alessandro, Consul General of Italy in HCMC Mr. Enrico Padula, Head of Economic & Commercial Mr. Francesco Arcuri, Trade Commissioner of Italian Trade Agency Mr. Fabio De Cillis, ICHAM’S Board of Directors and Members.

The AGM is an annual meeting where ICHAM report on what we have done in the previous year, in particular how ICHAM have supported and connected members, partners and businesses; our activity plan and vision for the next year; and dialogue between members on related issues.

Before starting the meeting, a moment of silence was held to show solidarity to the people of Ukraine during the current conflict. Once settled down, ICHAM Chairman Mr. Michele D’Ercole began reporting on activities and financial aspect in 2021 and 2022, followed by discussion and approval of amendments* in ICHAM’s Charter.

Attending the meeting, Ambassador of Italy H.E Antonio Alessandro remarked that ICHAM had always been a reliable ally in supporting and collaborating with the Embassy’s missions and ICHAM would continue to hold strong present in the Italian business community. He also encouraged ICHAM to push for further development in service and advocacy, helping the Italian businesses to have more prominent voice within the Chambers, especially within Eurocham.
