From 18th to 20th of June, the Executive Director of ICHAM – Mr. Quyet Tran Thanh joined the 23rd Meeting of the General Secretaries of the Italian Chambers of Commerce Abroad.
In #Milan, he along with other participants joined the 6th Food & Beverage Forum organized by Ambrosetti di Bormio and heard the talk of the President of #Assocamerestero Gian Domenico Auricchio on “Italian Sounding: how Italian agri-food companies can make the most out of its opportunities”. Mr. Quyet and many other Secretary Generals of Italian Chambers Abroad had the chance to meet and exchange ideas with high-level representatives of Italy’s institutions, connected with representatives of the Italian Chamber System, trade associations and other business aggregators.
On June 21st, Mr. Quyet Tran Thanh attended the Southeast Asian Business Forum organized in #Turin by CEIPIEMONTE s.c.p.a with representatives from Asian countries such as Vietnam, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, South Korea, Hongkong and Indonesia. At the event, Mr. Quyet delivered a country presentation about Vietnam – introducing to fellow colleagues the great potentials and opportunities for Italian enterprises to invest in the Vietnam market.
On the next day of the business trip, Mr. Quyet paid a visit and had meetings with our partners in #Trentino, #Italy. This meeting was participated by representatives from companies in Trentino, including Trentino Sviluppo S.p.A., Polo Meccatronica, Be Factory Laboratory, ProM Facility and Bonfiglioli – a Member of ICHAM. Later, Mr. Tran Thanh Quyet visited Bonfiglioli’s factory and also took the chance to present the potentials and opportunities for Italian enterprises to invest in the Vietnam market.
On the last day, Mr. Quyet had a working session with Consorzio Valpolicella, the Consortium of the winery of typical wine of Valpolicella, and discussed the promotion plan for the Valpolicella wine and the contest to look for an ambassador for this wine in Vietnam.
Mr. Quyet also had another meeting with Confindustria di Vicenza and talked over the working schedule for 2022-2023 and the promotion of GEFE 2022.
Green Economy Forum & Exhibition (GEFE) 2022 is to be hosted from 28th to 30th November, 2022 at Sala’s THISO SkyHall in Ho Chi Minh City. Organized by EuroCham in collaboration with ICHAM and other European chambers of commerce, the whole slate of events will act as a platform to enhance cooperation between European and Vietnamese business communities, and to promote a sustainable green Vietnamese economy through expertise sharing and technology transfer initiatives.
The business trip is still on the move with many more meetings and working session with provinces’ local authorities and organization.
Through this visit, ICHAM’s Executive Director – Mr. Quyet Tran strongly expressed the responsibility and interest in bilateral trade promoting between Vietnam and Italy, and successfully delivered and presented the value, potentials, opportunities of the Vietnam market to Italian enterprises in order to attract and achieve their investments.
