Meeting with Lao Cai Province and EUBIZ Jsc

This morning (March 23rrd), ICHAM Chairman Mr. Michele D’Ercole joined the meeting between the People’s Committee of Lao Cai Province and Eubiz Jsc.

Joining the meeting were representatives of Departments: Agriculture and Rural Development; Industry and Trade, Planning and Investment; Foreign Affairs; Mr. Le Anh Tuan – Business Advisor of GREAT program in Hanoi; Ms. Loly and Ms. Yen from LinkSME Project (USAID); Mr. Do Dang Teo – Deputy Director of USAID Sustainable Forest Management Project; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung – Biotrade Project Officer Center for Rural Economic Development (CRED).

During this meeting, participants discussed the organic agriculture model and technology for developing high-quality cinnamon essential oil, processing technology for export of EUBIZ Company, and exchange on international trade promotion. The topics of sustainability and organic production procedures were emphasized by both Lao Cai Province and EuBiz Jsc.

Representing Italian businesses, Mr. Michele affirmed Italy’s great interest in organic agri products and being a potential market for exporting Vietnam’s products in general and products of Lao Cai province in particular. As the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam, ICHAM is happy to support Lao Cai province and EuBiz in terms of Food Technology, Processing Machinery and finding suitable partners in Italy.
