DEEP C is a cluster of industrial zones owned by Belgian company Ackermans & van Haaren in Haiphong city and Quang Ninh province. Featuring a state-of-the-art industrial park, port facilities, utilities, and farm, DEEP C exemplifies a successful European investment in Vietnam. For the past 25 years, DEEP C has constantly expanded its landbank to 3,400 hectares adjacent to Hai Phong’s Cat Bi International Airport, Lach Huyen deep seaport, and extensive expressways, which form the backbone of the region’s manufacturing boom. It became home to many reputable international companies and aims to become the first eco-industrial park in Vietnam. A new model of industrial park development introduced by UNIDO and supported by MPI will soon become the benchmark in Vietnam.
