POWERACE 2020 GOES VIRTUAL

The Covid-19 pandemic has impacted our lives in more ways than one. While we would have liked to host all our participants on the show floor this October, the pandemic has changed much of our plans. After careful consideration, we have decided to host our 3rd annual PowerACE start-up competition virtually.

With this virtual format, PowerACE 2020 will bring you all the elements from the live experience on a digital platform and reach a global audience of industry professionals. Expect networking opportunities with investors and industry experts on a global scale - all from the comforts from your own homes or anywhere in the world on the go. We hope that this new format, PowerACE can empower energy start-ups to create more meaningful collaborations and opportunities to help scale businesses during these challenging times.

If you are an energy start-up founder that has a business idea or solution covering one of 5 key themes this year, we would like to hear from you!

As the ideal platform to help your energy start-up to scale-up, the top 12 selected start-ups will get a chance to exhibit at Asia Clean Energy Summit (ACES) where they can showcase their products to connect and exchange ideas with incumbents in the industry, meet with potential investors, and scout for the right professionals within the renewable energy sector.

Furthermore, as a chosen start-up, you will be provided mentorship by industry professionals to help refine your business models and pitches over a period of 1 month, with the winning pitch standing to win attractive prizes and supports from our sponsors!

12 selected startups will get access to:

With over SGD$100,000* worth of start-up support services! This is an opportunity not to be missed!

Sponsored by ECOLABS Center of Innovation For Energy and the Private Financing Advisory Network (PFAN), selected start-ups stand to win over SGD$100,000 worth of start-up support services that will help elevate their business to greater heights! This includes development spaces, testbeds, access to network resources, and project funding support among others!

Deadline for submission is on 31 August 2020.

“PowerACE is testament to showcase that we have certain recuse in certain application areas in terms of power transfer. Power transfer as a technology is very new, winning the competition pushes awareness in this area and a need for a new way to distribute power in the future.”  – Mr. Aashish Mehta, CEO, and Co-Founder of TransferFi and Top Prize Winner of the PowerACE 2019 start-up pitching competition.
