Vietnam – South Korea | RCEP Explained

The trade relations between Vietnam and South Korea have  developed quickly in recent years. In particular, the latter enjoys a trade surplus with Vietnam and some of its the major industries have moved their production in Vietnam. South Korea is also one of the main investors in Vietnam, and it an influential powerhouse in terms of culture and lifestyle. Korean fashion, music and style are widespread in Vietnam, transversally benefitting trade between the two states. 

When the RCEP will enter in force, said relations will be further fostered, thanks to the custom reductions and the standardized rules of origins.  Take a look at the new tariff regimes that will apply when the RCEP will enter in force!
