On September 29, the National Final of VBSIW – Vietnam Best Sommelier in Italian Wines 2026 took place at Casa Italia in Hanoi, welcoming nearly 80 guests who came together to enjoy the exciting performances of the talented finalists. The National Final marked the culmination of a two-month journey dedicated to nurturing Vietnam’s young sommelier community and celebrating the diversity of Italian wines.
The Top 3 Finalists each brought their own style to the stage! During the final round, the finalists took on 8 challenging workshops, showcasing their professionalism, well-rounded skills, and in-depth knowledge of Italian wines. Beyond technical expertise, the challenges also called for confidence, composure, and a strong presence on stage.
And the celebration continued with a cozy Appreciation Dinner. The evening was complemented by a selection of Italian wines and culinary offerings thoughtfully prepared by leading F&B exhibitors.
