From May 2-11, 2024, the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (ICHAM), together with Consortium Pinot Grigio delle Venezie successfully organized the event “Pinot Grigio delle Venezie: Unlock Your Senses!”. Under the patronage of the Embassy and the Consulate General of Italy in Vietnam, and with the support of the Saigon Sommelier Association (SSA) and the Hanoi Vino Club (HVC), the event attracted over 60 participants and guests who were sommeliers, wine educators, importers and distributors in Vietnam.
The event included four main stages: Online Training Session, In Presence-Training Session and Preliminary Round, Final Stop, and Wine-Pairing Activities in Hanoi and HCMC. Overcoming many talented participants through the journey, Mr. Vo Van Phat has successfully become the new Pinot Grigio delle Venezie Brand Ambassador in Vietnam. Overall, this wonderful experience provided by the contest helped ICHAM bring Pinot Grigio delle Venezie closer to wine enthusiasts in Vietnam.
Following the journey, all participants and distinguished guests, as well as the Embassy and the Consulate General of Italy in Vietnam participated in a wine pairing dinner, with delightful Italian cuisine perfectly combined with Pinot Grigio delle Venezie wine. The wine pairing activities were led by the Consortium Representative, Mr. Nazareno Vicenzi, in company with Mr. Vo Van Phat – the newly appointed brand ambassador.
The journey of “Pinot Grigio delle Venezie: Unlock your senses!” 2024 has come to a brilliant final stage, but the emotions of the participants still remain when experiencing and becoming a part of the journey.
