The Italian Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (ICHAM) and the Vietnam Sommelier Association (VSA) successfully organised the ultimate training session for all participants for the Vietnam Best Sommelier in Italian Wines 2025 title on July 1st, 2025. Three major cities—Hanoi, Da Nang, and Ho Chi Minh City—were assured inclusive participation since of the hybrid structure, which included both in-person and online elements.
A concentrated series of educational sessions aimed at preparing applicants for the competition came to a head with this final training. In addition to practicing their abilities through guided tasting and analytical exercises, participants had a priceless chance to evaluate their knowledge of Italian wines and participate in interactive Q&A sessions with experts. The occasion was a crucial component in guaranteeing that each competitor had the required equipment to demonstrate their proficiency with Italian wines.
In Ho Chi Minh City, the session was led by Ms. Lê Hoàng Khánh Vi, Vice President of the Vietnam Sommelier Association, who shared her deep knowledge and passion with aspiring sommeliers. In Hanoi, two distinguished trainers—Ms. Trần Thị Dung Trâm, a seasoned sommelier and manager at Chapter Restaurant, and Mr. Vũ Đức Linh, Head Sommelier of Đa Lộc – WeWine—delivered insightful lectures and tasting guidance, drawing on years of hands-on industry experience.
