On the evening of July 16, the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (ICHAM) Board Members Michele D’Ercole, Federico Vasoli, Diego Ficili, and Joseph A. Perucca, alongside ICHAM Officers, had the honour of joining a heartfelt farewell toast held for H.E. Enrico Padula, Consul General of Italy in Ho Chi Minh City, and Lady Milena Guarino Padula.
This elegant gathering marked the conclusion of a remarkable diplomatic tenure. Throughout his mission, H.E. Padula played an essential role in fostering strong diplomatic, economic, and cultural ties between Italy and Vietnam. His commitment and leadership contributed significantly to reinforcing bilateral relations, especially through his close collaboration with ICHAM on various impactful initiatives to support the Italian business community in Vietnam.
In his farewell remarks, the Consul General expressed deep affection for Vietnam — a country he has grown to cherish — and paid tribute to the warm people and enduring friendships he cultivated during his time in Ho Chi Minh City.
ICHAM extends its most sincere gratitude to H.E. Enrico Padula for his steadfast support and partnership. As he embarks on a new chapter in his distinguished diplomatic career, we wish him and Lady Milena continued success, happiness, and fulfillment in their future endeavours.
Grazie mille, Consul General!
