Within the framework of the Italy–Vietnam Business Forum and B2B Networking Program, organized by the Italian Trade Agency (ITA) in Vietnam in collaboration with the Foreign Investment Agency (FIA) and Confindustria (General Confederation of Italian Industry), the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (ICHAM) actively engaged in business networking and partnership initiatives. The event, held on September 4, 2025, at the Melia Hanoi Hotel, gathered government representatives and senior executives from both nations, laying the groundwork for the next steps in strategic cooperation.
The forum commenced with keynote addresses by Mr. Valentino Valentini, Deputy Minister of Enterprises and Made in Italy, and Mr. Hồ Sỹ Hùng, Vice Minister of Finance of Vietnam, who jointly emphasized the pivotal role of bilateral economic collaboration in the context of globalization and the dynamic transformation of European and Asian markets.
Representing ICHAM were Chairman Michele D’Ercole, Vice Chairman Federico Vasoli, and Executive Director Tran Thanh Quyet. At this event, ICHAM formalized the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with VCCI–ITB (the Institute of Information Technology for Business under the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry) — an institution dedicated to supporting startups, advancing the secondary market, and promoting the integration of technology in business management and international trade.
The MoU aims to establish a sustainable foundation for cooperation between the Italian and Vietnamese business communities through innovation-driven initiatives, investment facilitation, and market expansion in the digital era. This milestone reaffirms ICHAM’s and its partners’ strong commitment to fostering a strategic economic partnership that aligns with the sustainable development goals of both nations.
Through this forum and the signing ceremony, ICHAM continues to reinforce its role as a commercial bridge while creating new opportunities for its members and businesses on both sides. The strategic alliance between ICHAM and VCCI–ITB also reflects a forward-looking approach to cooperation, designed to swiftly adapt to global changes, particularly in the fields of startups and technological markets.
