The Autumn Economic Forum 2025 took place on 26 November 2025 at Thisky Hall, Ho Chi Minh City, gathering Vietnam’s top policymakers, global economic leaders, and prominent industry representatives to discuss the country’s strategic development priorities in a rapidly evolving global landscape. Representing the Italian business community, Mr. Michele D’Ercole, Chairman of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (ICHAM), proudly attended the event under the theme “Green Transformation in the Digital Era”.
The forum honorably welcomed Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính, Deputy Prime Minister Bùi Thanh Sơn, central and local government leaders, international diplomats, and delegations from global institutions. Senior figures from multinational corporations, business associations, and economic organizations also joined, making the event one of the most significant policy–business dialogues of the year.
During the opening and subsequent discussion sessions, leaders from the Government of Vietnam and the World Economic Forum emphasized key shared priorities for Vietnam’s future development. These include advancing smart manufacturing, strengthening globally integrated supply chains, developing smart services and logistics, and accelerating data-driven smart governance to support Vietnam’s green and digital transition.
For ICHAM, attending the forum offered a valuable opportunity to align with Vietnam’s long-term development trajectory and identify fields where Italian expertise, innovation, and sustainable technologies can contribute meaningfully. Through active engagement, ICHAM reaffirms its commitment to supporting Vietnam’s growth and deepening Italy–Vietnam economic cooperation in the green–digital era.
