ICHAM at EuroCham Vietnam’s Annual General Meeting 2026

On 26 March 2026, more than 300 EuroCham members gathered in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and virtually across Vietnam for the EuroCham Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2026 — a landmark event shaping the future of European business in Vietnam.

A Historic Vote on the EuroCham Statutes

The evening opened with the EGM dedicated to proposed amendments to EuroCham’s Statutes — changes championed by Simonetta di Domenico, former Secretary General of EuroCham and ICHAM‘s representative to the Chamber. The result? A resounding 100% approval by the membership. This outcome is a powerful reminder of how active ICHAM engagement within EuroCham translates into concrete, lasting results for the entire European business community in Vietnam.

Meet EuroCham's New Board of Directors 2026

Following the statutory vote, EuroCham members elected the new Board of Directors for 2026, comprising nine directly elected members and eight appointed representatives from affiliated national business associations. We are proud that CHAM continues to be represented on the EuroCham Board through Simonetta di Domenico, Vietnam Country Manager at Leonardo s.p.a.. Additionally, Claudia Anselmi, General Director and CEO of Hung Yen Knitting and Dyeing Co. Ltd. and valued ICHAM member, continues her role as a member of EuroCham’s Advisory Board — a further testament to the depth of Italian business leadership in Vietnam.

Looking Ahead: Impact 2030 & 8 Strategic Projects for 2026

Jan-Willem Paans, Managing Director Vietnam at Perfetti van Melle, presented EuroCham’s Impact 2030 strategic vision. EuroCham Chairman Bruno Jaspaert then unveiled 8 Strategic Projects for 2026, four of which are brand new:
