Building on the enthusiastic response in Hanoi, the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (ICHAM) continued its mission of promoting Italian culinary excellence by organizing the MASTURZO Masterclass & B2B Meetings in Ho Chi Minh City, held at the elegant Cocotte SILA Urban.
The event was honored to welcome Mr. Enrico Padula, Consul General of Italy in Ho Chi Minh City, who shared his remarks on the importance of olive oil as both a cultural icon and a valuable product in the Italian food tradition. His presence further emphasized the Italian institutions’ ongoing support for promoting high-quality Italian products in Vietnam.
The event once again spotlighted the cultural and gastronomic prestige of Italian extra virgin olive oil, attracting over 20 distinguished guests, including senior professionals from the F&B industry, luxury food distributors, chefs, and media.
Guests were guided through the legacy of Olio Masturzo, discovering the family’s deep-rooted traditions in olive oil production, followed by a guided olive oil tasting where attendees learned to evaluate quality through aroma, bitterness, and spice.
A live cooking show featuring dishes made with fresh ingredients and Italian olive oil highlighted the versatility and health benefits of the product, blending Italian techniques with Vietnamese culinary influences.
The afternoon concluded with a B2B networking session, where producers, chefs, and business leaders exchanged ideas and discussed opportunities to expand collaboration in the premium food market.
Through events like this, ICHAM continues to strengthen Vietnam–Italy trade relations and bring Italian culinary excellence to new audiences.
