October 30th is the last day to register for the Logo Design Contest and Tourism Slogan for CON DAO Island, with the total prize up to VND 100 million for all categories. Especially, the Organizing Committee of the contest has officially collaborated with HCM Design Association – VDAS and together adjust the rules and regulation with the purpose of leverage and expand the scale of contestant to domestic and international professional designer.
From then, the Committee has established a jury board with professional experts from HCM Design Association – VDAS along with the advisors from Korea and Japan Design Association. For the convenience of application and marking process, the contestants’ works will be easily applied online through the website, which is an adaptation to Industry 4.0.
Con Dao island is located not too far from the mainland, 97 nautical miles from Vung Tau City, hence it is an ideal destination for those who want to enjoy the serendipity and explore the wild of the island. Not only does the contest want to connect the island to the mainland, it also promotes the beauty attraction of Con Dao to domestic and international tourists. Con Dao National Park (which is also called Ramsar area) has been recognized by the UNESCO organization as the flooded land with an internationally important impact in 2014. With the development direction approved by the Minister, “Improve Con Dao Island to become an Economy – Tourism Zone along with high-quality service which sticks to preservation and embellishment of the Vietnam Revolutionary Monument and enhance, develop the value of Con Dao National Park.”
