The first “GBA Oktoberfest Vietnam” was organized in 1992 by the German business community in Vietnam, under the patronage of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Hanoi, and the German Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City. During the past 30 years, “GBA Oktoberfest Vietnam” has become the biggest beer festival in Southeast Asia, to bring the unique German cultural and traditional experiences closer to the Vietnamese people. It has also created a bridge for promoting the Vietnam-Germany strategic partnership.
