The Prosecco DOC Lifestyle Event

In recent years, the name Prosecco has gradually become familiar to the public, as well as to wine connoisseurs in Vietnam. According to Forbes magazine, in 2022, Prosecco is the most popular sparkling wine in the world with global annual sales reaching more than 638 million bottles. Originating from a grape variety grown in the Veneto region, the Prosecco brand has since grown to become a major wine region – and has become the precious pride of Italy.

As part of the “A Taste of Italian Wine” project, the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (ICHAM) is pleased to cooperate with the Prosecco DOC Wine Protection Association, pleased to announce The Prosecco DOC Lifestyle event. This event aims to introduce and promote Prosecco wine more widely to Vietnamese consumers as well as those who are interested in importing and exporting Italian wine in general and Prosecco wine in particular.

Under the patronage of the Embassy of Italy in Hanoi and the Consulate General of Italy in Ho Chi Minh City, ICHAM is pleased to hold the event at the following two locations:

  • In Hanoi:
    • Time: May 15th, 2023
    • Location: Casa Italia, 18 Le Phung Hieu, Hanoi
  • In Da Nang:
    • Time: May 17th, 2023
    • Location: Hyatt Regency Danang, 5 Truong Sa, Ngu Hanh Son, Da Nang

The event consists of three main programs:

  • Masterclass: A guide and introduction to eight popular Prosecco brands
  • Walk-around Tastings: Meetings and discussions between wine producers and exporters from Italy and wine importers and distributors in Vietnam
  • Party: A wine party with Prosecco wines (invitation required)

In particular, this event feature a new and exciting party to create a shared space for all participants to enjoy Prosecco wine. In addition, in the coastal city of Da Nang, ICHAM is pleased to cooperate with the Italian Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City to hold a dedicated ceremony for welcoming Italy’s National Day (June 2nd). The event is expected to welcome the participation of leaders of departments, ministries, representatives of departments and associations, as well as Italian manufacturers and businesses, etc.
