Following the success of the event “A Taste of Valpolicella” at the end of last year, the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (ICHAM), in collaboration with the Consortium for the Protection of Valpolicella Wines, is pleased to organize the event “Valpolicella: More Than Wines!”
Under the patronage of the Consulate General of Italy in Ho Chi Minh City, the event is organized for sommeliers, wine educators, wine producers and exporters from Valpolicella, as well as wine importers and distributors from Vietnam, in particular Ho Chi Minh City.
The event is detailed as follow:
- Time: 9:30AM – 5PM, May 27th, 2023
- Venue: Caravelle Saigon Hotel, 19-23 Lam Son Square, D1, HCMC
The event consists of:
- Masterclass: This session provides a detailed look into what gives Valpolicella wine its reputation – the historical development, soil characteristics, grape varieties of the Valpolicella region, while attendees experience tasting popular Valpolicella wines. In particular, this Masterclass will be led by Ms. Le Hoang Khanh Vi – Winner of the “Who will be the next Valpolicella Wine Specialist” Contest held last year.
- Walkaround Tastings: With this program, Italian wine producers-exporters and wine importers & distributors in Vietnam can meet and discuss future cooperative/partnership opportunities.
